About David Bennett
David Bennett has been active in online business and media for over ten years. He co-owns Theta Hill, works as a consultant and speaker. He and his business partner (and brother) Jonathan produce online content that is read, watched, and accessed by over 1.5 million people a year.
He has been used as a source in a variety of publications and media, including Fox News, RedBook Magazine, Reader's Digest, Girls' Life, and many others. He has appeared on numerous radio shows throughout the United States.
He consults, coaches, and speaks in the central Ohio on dating, relationships, and business communications, partnering with the largest matchmaking business in central Ohio.
Education
David graduated in magna cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While there he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and the honor societies Psi Chi (Psychology), Phi Alpha Theta (History), and Eta Sigma Phi (Classics).
Later, he graduated from Emory University with a Master’s Degree, summa cum laude. He also completed post-Master’s work at Felician College in education. He was honored twice by “Ohio Magazine” for excellence in private school teaching. In 2011 he completed Model-Netics, a business and organizational management course. He is also a certified counselor in Ohio, and has also studied and written on topics as diverse as mindfulness, neuroplasticity, body language, and effective communication.
Public Speaking, Consulting, and Writing
David regularly teaches and speaks to a variety of audiences. His recent talk is Why women like jerks (and how to avoid them).
He runs The Popular Teen and The Popular Man, two websites dedicated to teaching people the skills needed to be popular and excellent.
David is also the author of seven books, including one on the topic of positive affirmations, Say It Like You Mean It. He is co-author of The Teen Popularity Handbook: Make Friends, Get Dates, And Become Bully-Proof, and Be Popular Now: How Any Man Can Become Confident, Attractive and Successful (And Have Fun Doing It) on the Theta Hill Press imprint.
